Healthyish Apple Crumble

I had apples that were going bad so I threw together an apple crumble. I love apple crumbles because they are super quick and easy to make, and don’t require a lot of extra sugar since there is so much from the apples! No refined sugar and you would never know. If you are looking to throw something together that feels decadent but minimal effort, I recommend this recipe!

5 Easy Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Peel and slice apples and place in big bowl. Place corn starch, sugar, salt, cinnamon and allspice in small bowl and combine. Pour over apples and coat apples with mixture using your hands.

  3. Pour maple syrup and mix around until fully coated. Place apples into baking dish.

  4. In separate bowl combine topping ingredients together. Use your hands to combine the butter with the ingredients until a crumble mixture has formed.

  5. Place dish into oven for 60ish minutes or until apples are soften and sugar mixture is bubbling. If you the top begins to toast, place aluminum foil on top until fully baked.
